So, when we think about the strategy, the strategy is about how you are going to win and the person that comes to mind to me without any doubt is Jeff Bezos. Bezos has done an incredible job of executing faithfully on his strategy of being a low-cost provider and a low-cost enabler to consumers. This quote is amazing

This talks about the idea that your margin is my opportunity, just think about that everyone here talks about gross margin and what we need is gross margin and we should be celebrating gross margin and when you don’t have that is a big problem and we are all trying to optimize that. He takes the contrary view which is anytime I have a little bit of margin I am giving that back to the customer and I am going to build an amazing business with it. And this strategy has worked not just in eCommerce but has enabled him to become the low cost provider of the cloud computing to beat out Microsoft and Google in an area that they should be dominating but this strategy of being a low-cost provider enables him to be effective and so, he is the one that comes to mind when I think about doing strategy.
